Use Marketplace agents in Sage Copilot

Use Marketplace agents in Sage Copilot to access specialized capabilities and information from Sage-approved partner solutions.

You can use Marketplace agents in Sage Copilot after your administrator enables them and assigns them to your role.

Before you begin

To use a Marketplace agent in Sage Copilot:

  • Your company must have access to Sage Copilot through the Finance Intelligence Agent (FIA) subscription.

  • The Marketplace agent must be activated for your company.

  • The Marketplace agent must be assigned to your role.

  • Your role must include the permissions required by the Marketplace agent.

If you do not see Sage Copilot or an expected Marketplace agent, contact your administrator.

Search help with Copilot is separate from the Sage Copilot and available to all users.

Use a Marketplace agent

  1. On any page in Sage Intacct, select the Copilot icon in the top title bar.

    The Copilot panel opens on the right side of your browser.

  2. In the Copilot message box, enter @.

  3. Select the Marketplace agent you want to use.

  4. Enter a question or request.

  5. Select Send.

  6. Review the response.

You can continue the conversation by submitting additional prompts.

Learn more about a Marketplace agent

After a Marketplace agent responds, the response includes an attribution footer that identifies the Marketplace agent that generated the response.

To view the Marketplace agent profile:

  1. Hover over the Marketplace agent name in the attribution footer.

  2. Review information showing that a third-party agent generated the response.

  3. Select the link to the Marketplace agent profile.

The Marketplace agent profile opens in the Copilot console and provides more information about the agent. The profile can include:

  • Description

  • Features and capabilities

  • Suggested prompts

  • Required permissions

  • Support information

  • Documentation links

  • Terms and conditions

  • Privacy policy

Suggested prompts are not shown directly in Sage Copilot. To view suggested prompts for a Marketplace agent, select the agent from the @ picker and submit a prompt. After the agent responds, use the attribution footer to open the agent profile. Some profiles contain suggested prompts.

Understand Marketplace agent responses

Marketplace agent responses include information that helps you understand where the response came from and how it was generated.

Agent attribution

Each response identifies the Marketplace agent that generated the content.

Use the attribution footer to:

  • Confirm which Marketplace agent generated the response.

  • Access the Marketplace agent profile and suggested prompts.

  • View information about the Marketplace agent provider.

How AI worked it out

Marketplace agents provide information about how a response was generated. Depending on the Marketplace agent, this information can include:

  • Data sources used

  • Time periods covered

  • Logic or reasoning applied

Review this information to understand and validate the response.

Best practices

To get the most useful results from a Marketplace agent:

  • Start with a specific question or request.

  • Review the Marketplace agent profile to learn about supported use cases and suggested prompts.

  • Provide enough context for the Marketplace agent to understand your request.

  • Review responses before using them to make business decisions.

  • Verify important information using your organization's standard business processes.

Troubleshooting

I don't see Sage Copilot

The Sage Copilot panel is available only when your company has a Finance Intelligence agent (FIA) subscription.

If you do not see the Sage Copilot panel, contact your administrator.

I don't see a Marketplace agent

The Marketplace agent can be unavailable to you for one of the following reasons:

  • The Marketplace agent has not been enabled.

  • The Marketplace agent has not been assigned to your role.

  • Your role does not include the required permissions.

Contact your administrator for assistance.

A Marketplace agent I previously used is no longer available

The Marketplace agent may have been:

  • Disabled by an administrator

  • Removed from your role

  • Removed because the subscription expired or ended

Contact your administrator to verify access.
