Purchase and set up Marketplace agents

Purchase Marketplace agents through Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace, and make them available to users in Sage Intacct.

Before you begin

To purchase and manage Marketplace Agents, you must have:

  • An active Sage Intacct subscription.

  • An active Finance Intelligence Agent (FIA) subscription.

  • A paid AWS account.

  • A business user with admin privileges in Sage Intacct.

  • A roles-based company.

Only business users with admin privileges can purchase, enable, and manage Marketplace Agents.

Intacct recommends setting up your AWS Marketplace account before starting the agent purchase process.

1. Review available agents

Sage reviews and certifies all agents in the marketplace through a technical, security, and legal review process before making them available for purchase.

  1. Go to Company > Admin > Subscriptions > Marketplace Agents and select Manage agents.

  2. Select the Agent marketplace tab.

  3. Look through the available agents.

Select an agent to review its details.

Agent details can include:

  • Description

  • Features and capabilities

  • Suggested prompts

  • Required permissions

  • Documentation and support information

  • Terms and conditions

  • Privacy policy

Review the agent's required permissions before purchasing so that you can assign the agent to an appropriate role after activation.

2. Purchase an agent

  1. When you find an agent you want to use, open the agent information and select Purchase

To use Marketplace agents in Intacct, your company must have access to Sage Copilot through a Finance Intelligence Agent (FIA) subscription. If your company does not have an FIA subscription, you'll be prompted to subscribe before purchasing a Marketplace agent.
  2. The AWS Marketplace listing for the selected agent opens. Select your pricing tier and complete the subscription in AWS.

Intacct recommends setting up your AWS account before starting the agent purchasing process.

After subscribing to the agent on the AWS Marketplace, the Sage Intacct fulfillment page opens.

  3. Log in to the Sage Intacct fulfillment page with your Sage Intacct credentials to associate the agent with your company.

Billing is set up and maintained through your AWS account.

If you’re already logged in, the Intacct fulfillment page can redirect you to Sage Intacct.

3. Activate the agent

  1. Go to Company > Admin > Subscriptions > Marketplace Agents and select Manage agents.

  2. On the Manage agents tab, find the newly purchased agent.

  3. Select Activate.

  4. Confirm activation

The Marketplace agent is now available for assignment to roles. Activation does not give users access automatically. To use the agent, users must be assigned to a role that includes the agent and its required permissions.

4. Assign the agent to roles

Assign the Marketplace agent to one or more roles so the right users can access it in Sage Copilot. Before assigning the agent, review the permissions listed in the agent profile and determine whether a dedicated role is needed for users who will access the agent.

For more information, see Assign Marketplace Agents to roles.

Associate a subscription with additional companies

A Marketplace agent subscription can be associated with more than one Intacct company, including production companies, sandbox companies, or other eligible companies in your organization.

To associate an existing subscription with another company, open the Intacct fulfillment page and complete the company association process as a business user with admin privileges.

Next steps

After purchasing and enabling an agent:

  1. Assign the agent to the appropriate roles.

  2. Verify that users can access the agent in Sage Copilot.

  3. Monitor usage and subscription details through the AWS Marketplace.
